One hopeful result of the tumultuous year of 2020 was that greenhouse gas emissions fell for the first time globally since World War II. However, this was due to nothing more than a radically shrinking demand as a result of the pandemic. Companies still need to find ways to reduce their emissions in a sustainable way to play their part in the fight against climate change.
